Pix couldn’t say that she was disappointed about being in a new town. To be completely honest, she was sort of thrilled for the change and couldn’t get out and reestablish a customer base. Since she had only been in this sunny Californian town for nearly a week, it was hardly enough time to get many reoccurring customers. She had though found a couple and that was enough to keep her happy financially for now. The only thing that made her slightly upset was that she hadn’t yet found a dealer and the effects of withdrawals were beginning to show. That was a problem considering she was used to always having her fix and now she had nothing. So she decided that later on today, she would devote time to making connections with what people considered, “the wrong crowd.” They didn’t scare her mostly because she had been part of the “wrong” crowd for some time now and knew how to get what she wanted.
Getting up in the morning was the hardest part of the day. She wasn’t used to the sun shining on her face in the early hours or the wind billowing through her white sheer curtains. In fact, she was used to the opposite. Living in New York had always been cold, dreary, and rainy so this was a nice change to be able to see the sun and actually experience the warm weather. Dragging herself out of bed, she carried on with the necessaries to be presentable to the world. Of course this included showering, getting dressed, and brushing her teeth. Pixie wasn’t really big on eating, at all. She ate when she was starving and when she was starving she ate a lot. So maybe it was unhealthy to go on binges like this but she didn’t see anything wrong with it and as far as she was concerned she was healthy. Observing herself in the mirror, she curled her dark hair into big delicate curls and applied appropriate make up. Pix never thought she was pretty even if people told her otherwise. It just wasn’t one of those things she agreed on and she doubted anyone could change her mind.
Now that she was presentable, she was a bit indecisive about where she should go. There were countless places that she had wanted to explore and the school wasn’t one of them. She hated school and hardly ever went. The only reason why she had made it this far was because she was inclined to sleep with her teachers to get a better grade. It was a fair tradeoff in her opinion and she didn’t see anything wrong with it. She liked sleeping with people and that was probably the main reason, aside from money, that she was a hooker. Occasionally though she made exceptions for the boys her age that she liked, they were free of charge. Upon further debate she decided to head over to the mall to buy more clothes and perhaps stop in the music store to get some sheet music.
The only question left was some sort of transportation to get her there. She had yet to acquire a car so it seemed that public transportation was the only way to go. It didn’t take her long to find a bus stop at which she waited for about ten minutes before she boarded it. Sitting towards the middle, she watched the serene landscape pass by taking in everything that was her new home. It was so pretty here that she questioned why she hadn’t moved out of her parent’s house sooner. It wasn’t like they cared anyway. Stepping off the bus, she found herself in the beginning of her new adventures in California. Smirking to herself, she figured first was first, music. Finding a directory just inside the double glass doors, she quickly found where it was she wanted to go and headed off. There was a bit of a flaw in this considering Pix had a poor sense of direction and was inclined to getting lost almost everywhere she went. She couldn’t help it really and it was a big problem. Looking around, she tried to make some sense of the stores around her.

RAWR! ... fear me! i said fear me dammit! ---------------------------
Landis groaned and rolled over as the crisp morning light filled his bedroom breaking him from sleep. He cursed the sun. He cursed anything and anyone who was bright and cheery this early in the morning. He squeezed his eyes trying to partake in sleep once more but his body fidgeted to get up. He finally managed to slide out of bed and stretch. He could hear his aunt and uncle downstairs and his hair was sticking up every which way. Hangovers sucked.
His uncle was probably already at work and he knew his aunt had a sit down breakfast just waiting for him at the kitchen table, but he would probably puke if he even tried to eat it. He stumbled to the bathroom and went about his normal routine of taking a shower and brushing his hair. He pulled a headband over his hand making his hair lay flat and once he thought he was presentable and he smelled of hairspray he exited the bathroom.
So what do you think Mr. Landis did when he had a hangover? He went to the mall of course. He slid his shoes on and pulled a hoodie over his head before leaving his house. His phone was put safely in his backpocket and his keys dangled on their clip that was hooked safely on his belt loop. He said bye to his aunt and closed the door behind him.
His car sat in the driveway. A gift for his sixteenth birthday which wasn't too long ago, and he loved it. He wouldn't trade the beat up car for anything. He put his key into the ignition and was at the mall in no time his radio blaring Devil Wears Prada. It was a simple day. A school day. Pssh... his aunt could care less if he went or not she figured he would pay the price if he got caught skipping. They were overprotective but didn't care what he did as long as he wasn't having sex... whoops.
The California sun beat down on his neck and he was ready to be out of the bright yellowing light. A smile tugged at his lips once he was inside the mall. His glasses sat on the bridge of his nose and his hands were shoved in his pockets as he began walking. Older people were moving about him but a girl who looked confused caught his attention, so being nice he made his way over to her. He stopped walking once beside her and gave a small smile. "Hey there, you look wicked confused. Need help?" He asked her his eyebrow raised in a questioning manner. He knew how she felt it was quite overwhelming when he made his first trip to the mall.
--------------------------- once upon a time there was a boy named LANDIS. he went along to SIXTEENTH STREET MALL and hung out with someone named KATRINA. it was a very beautiful day even though it was WARM and it was sometime in the MORNING. it took him around FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE words to actually FINISH what he was saying. he was wearing a pretty radical OUTFIT that is probably one of his favourites. now all i have to SAY is; sorry it took so long to reply:)

Being lost wasn’t fun at all. Pix knew that she probably looked really stupid wandering around in a strange place but she couldn’t help it. Everything looked the same and no matter which way she went, she found that she was back in the same place she started. It went on like this for a few minutes and she was aware of the strange stares that she was getting. It wasn’t that nice really considering they were older people making judgments on her based on her sense of direction. No one here looked even remotely like her age so she guessed that eventually, she would have to ask some older woman or something where to find the musical haven, which she desperately wanted to find. Once in the music store she would probably spend the rest of the day there, completely content with being in one place for so long. It would only be in the later hours that she would leave the mall in search for some love in the form of lying down with a complete stranger.
A few moments later, she was greeted by a complete stranger. It made her happy to see that someone was nice enough to help. She smirked, a bit enthused that it was someone her age and not some mocking senior citizen who would beat her senseless with a rather heavy purse. Hah, yeah. I’m always getting lost. Pix shrugged, defeated. Could you point me in the direction of the music store? I figured it might be cool to add to my collection. She stopped herself from saying too much that she would bore the boy and send him off in the other direction. Pix was in no position to pass up a chance to make a friend considering she loved hanging out and partying. What better way to make party friends than to meet them randomly?
This boy was rather prettyful, if she could say so herself. However, he looked a bit younger than she was. Her imagination began to run with the ideas of corrupting him and what she could introduce him to. Pix loved corrupting people and dragging them down with her. It was mean, yes but it was fun. I’m Pix, by the way. She said as she came out of her daze and remembering her manners. It might be good to get to know him better just in case she got bored one night and needed a source of entertainment. He looked like he could be fun but she refused to pass judgments just yet. Running her feminine fingers through her hair and shaking it momentarily, she waited for the direction she needed. Chances are that she was going to get lost again but that was just her luck. Blue eyes turned to look up at her new acquaintance once again.

RAWR! ... fear me! i said fear me dammit! ---------------------------
Landis smiled at her and nodded when she asked for directions. "Yeah, so all you do is walk that way a few feet and there's a break to the left and you follow it and the music store is on the right. I was headed that way though so I can walk with you if you want." He told her with a shrug. It was just a suggestion. He was ok at making friends. Of course he didn't have many good ones. Lots of trust issues up in that poor boys head, but he could at least make aquaintances when he wanted. His eyes wandered about at the others passing by. Yes, he was a people watcher. He loved to see what they were like just by their body language.
He watched as an older woman and man passed by. The woman's eyes were wide and she clutched the man's arm in a death grip with one hand and held her purse with the other. She looked ready to beat someone up if they even came near her. He shook his head. People were crazy sometimes. He couldn't help but fidget and this is what he did now. He sub conciously flattened down his bangs that were hanging out of the headband and then he messed with his keys that he had once more clipped to his belt loop.
He glanced back at the girl when she said her name. "Oh cool name. I'm Landis." he told her with a smile. She looked older than him by a longshot, but that was to be expected with his friends. He didn't like hanging out with kids his age, they were... too innocent. He figured. He was a partyer, they liked to sit at home on weekends. He snorted cocaine, they ate fun dip. He liked tequila, they liked coca cola. It was so different, so he hung with an older crowd. He just gravitated to them. Now he did have good grades, which surprised his teachers considering he was never in school and he was never awake in class, but that was the magic of it all. He studied for tests and did his homework in the afternoons and went out to party at night. He always turned his homework in and understood everything he learned thanks to his early morning study hall and coffee, considering he wouldn't be able to live without coffee. He shuffled his feet a bit not really knowing what to say considering he wasn't good at starting conversations, but he was quite the talker once you got him on a good subject.

Pix was rather excited with her new source of entertainment, if that was what he turned out to be. He seemed nice enough and so she was pleased. Yeah, I’d like that. I’d probably just get lost again. Sometimes she lacked commonsense she supposed it was a small price to pay in exchange for being able to do calculus without a problem. Shall we? she motioned in the direction he had indicated with s fluid movement. It’s very nice to meet you, Landis. She couldn’t hide her enthusiasm any longer. There was only so much time she could spend without having the company of someone cool.
Since she had no idea that he liked to party, she decided to tread a bit lightly until she knew more. Some people just didn’t like being around party people so she didn’t know if he was one of those or not. Her intellect was a bit dizzying at times but she was outgoing and loved attention. The attention she was getting now though was sufficient though she may get bored within the next five minutes and have to do something extreme. She had been arrested twice in her lifetime and both were for indecent exposure. Apparently, it was against the law being in public naked. Pix liked doing crazy things and one of the best parts was that she didn’t have to be drunk or high to do it.
So what brings you here today, Mr. Landis? she asked curiously as she started in the way of the music store. It was just pleasant conversation and although she was lacking in conversation starters, she would try to get him talking. Perhaps he was a shy boy or something, but then again, he was the one that had approached her. Her mind wondered for a moment why he had in the first place. Maybe it was because of her scantily dressed outfit or that she just looked pathetic wandering around in circles. Whatever the reason, she was glad he did. Have you lived here long? What do you like to do? This was probably the most she ever talked to a boy without having the intentions of sleeping with someone. It didn’t matter though, she just needed a hang out buddy and even if this was the only time she’d talk to him that was okay. Pix’s blue eyes looked up at the signs of the stores as she passed them. She smirked as she saw a lingerie store close by. She loved playing dress up in sexy thing. Hey want to help me? She asked pointing to the store excitedly.

RAWR! ... fear me! i said fear me dammit! ---------------------------
He nodded and fell into step beside her as she began walking. He quietly listened to her questions waiting. "Eh, what brings me here to the mall today you ask? Well let's see. The sun came up and I decided to do something random with my time, trying to weigh out a hangover, and skip class. That my friend is what brings me to the mall today." he told her using his normal slang that most people thought annoying, but then again he couldn't help but talk in big long crazy sentances. It was just who he was and when people learned this they tended to decide that he was a walking dictionary. "Nah, I haven't lived here long. Couple 'a weeks I guess." He retorted to her next question. "Hmm... I like to do alot of things. Hang out with friends. See movies. Mess with people's heads. Listen to music, go to raves. Teenage stuff. Simple as that. I'm not a very complicated boy." He shrugged lightly glancing around the place where they were walking.
Her sudden interest in the lingerie store didn't catch him off guard and he really didn't mind. He gave a shrug of indifference and let her alter their course. Who was he to reject a pretty face, even if he didn't completely like girl's he didn't mind seeing them in lingerie. He was a boy after all, it was just that he thought other boy were sexy. Especially boys in eyeliner. He couldn't help it. It was just him. He watched as a woman on a power jog of sorts passed. He raised his eyebrows ready to break out in laughter. He soon looked back up at Pixie and smiled returning her questions. "What about you? What brought you here?" He asked her his brown eyes scanning her face. "Have you lived here long? Well probably not assuming you don't know where your going that or you don't like the mall, considering most people don't. What with barbie clones running about everywhere I don't much mind it myself." He told her getting a bit sidetracked. That seemed to happen to him alot. "Oh, What do you like to do? Hmm?" He asked simply reversing her questions onto her.
Once you got him to talking he was like a little kid let loose on gallons of candy or better yet someone on acid, and when he's like that he get's sidetracked very very easily. Shiny objects were usually what distracted him, causing him to stop in the middle of a sentance and then not remember what he was trying to say, but he was a lovable boy nonetheless.

Pix listened to his answers intently just in case she wanted to recall the responses later. It might give her a bit of information as to what kind of person he was. However, if he was in the mall at this time instead of being in school… he was exactly her kind of person. So she supposed that she didn’t need that much more information, but it was still polite to uphold pleasant conversation with the stranger. The way he spoke made her smirk. He was definitely quite the speaker and it was cute to say the least to hear a long polite explanation from the boy. Skipping class? she questioned raising her eyebrows. Aren’t you the rebel. Pix was only teasing to lighten the mood a bit so things weren’t so formal. If there was anything she disliked it was being formal and not being able to joke around. Hopefully, she hadn’t pushed his buttons yet.
She supposed that a couple of weeks had been enough time to go exploring and get a mental map of the suburbs. Maybe if he was willing, he could show her the cool spots and what places to avoid and things of the like. Pix already knew where she could go walking and get money for her services but she hadn’t found a dealer. She wasn’t about to go around asking people if they knew where she could get a fix. They would probably look at her like she had two heads. A lot of his interests were the same and she could tell that they probably wouldn’t clash very often. Boys in eyeliner were sexy, very sexy. There was just something about boys with shaggy hair and manliner that made her go vroom.
Blue eyes stared up as he reversed her questions on her. She never thought that she was a very interesting person, but she supposed that she could be depending on who the listener was. Shrugging lightly, she began. School isn’t my best friend so I decided to come exploring a bit instead. Entering the pink store, she began to look at the questionable outfits. No, she frowned. I haven’t been here long, maybe a week. I’m still not that great at finding things. Pix couldn’t hold back a chuckle at his comment about the barbies. They were pretty annoying dancing around in American Eagle and Abercrombie. Rummaging through the racks, she answered his question. This was an easy one. I like to party… a lot, hang out with friends, go to clubs, get into trouble. She shrugged once more as if it weren’t a big deal. Just then she found a particular corset that she absolutely loved. What do you think about this one? She questioned holding it up for him.
