Camden is pretty much your average definition of an emo kid in appearance. He has dyed black hair that is straight as hell; he's obsessed with looking as perfect as he believes possible. He has innocent dark eyes that are typically covered by his hair anyway so he doesn't generally bother with eyeliner. As far as clothes go, he enjoys a pair of skinny jeans, a band shirt, and converse to anything else.

PERSONALITY.

`` Adorable:

The word adorable seems to best fit the boy. He finds it extremely easy to melt his way into just about anyone's heart with just being himself. If theres ever an hour time period where he goes without a hug or some sort of affection, he'll go positively mental, or at least extremely pouty. He's extremely whiny, no point in denying that, but somehow everyone just seems to adore him more for it. Perhaps, it's the fact that his pout could win the affections of just about anyone, never try to out pout him, it just wouldn't be worth it.

`` Fragile:

Sometimes it seems as if it would be harder to tear paper than to hurt Camden, he's so easily wounded. Sure, he knows when someone really means something and when they don't but one insult will drive him to attempt until the end of the world to correct that 'flaw' whoever saw in him. Although, if he doesn't put you in high regards or knows your opinion to be wrong, he won't fret on it. Most of his problem is how easily he attaches himself onto others, he often finds himself feeling as if a boy means the world to him and finding out that the boy was feeling the complete opposite with him and was only messing with his feelings. After all, he is a very easy person to take advantage of.

``Immature:

It would be an understatement to say that Camden Ryan is a boy that doesn't act his age. You'd never know he was a legal adult from the way that he is always acting. He still loves going to the park and swinging on the swing sets, pretending he's small enough to play on the monkey bars, and sliding down the slides. He'll be the first one to offer to go with you to the mall to shout profanities until you finally get kicked out or to go find a trampoline in some random person's yard and start jumping on it. Oh, and your mum is still funny, thanks.

`` Easily Frightened:

If scaring the shit out of people amuses you, you could have a lot of fun with Camden. No, he isn't the type that's going to go and scream like a girl if you jump behind him and scream boo but all you have to do is throw a plastic lizard on him and he'll jump onto the nearest lap, doesn't matter who it is, and wail until it's been taken away. He doesn't know where these fears come from most of the time but them being there is undeniable. The worst, is storms, even the slightest bit of thunder and lightening and the boy will be huddled up in a corner hiding under a blanket waiting for someone to rescue him,

`` Flirty:

Most of the time Camden doesn't notice he's doing it, it comes naturally to him. He is always sprawled across whoever it is that he can get his hands on and he has no shame in doing so. Compliments spill from his mouth as soon as he thinks them, accidentally at times falling into the ears of some innocent girl he knows is pretty. He never means to lead girls on, it just happens...it would probably stop if as soon as they quit doing nice things like playing with his hair...Seriously though, if he likes a boy he'll flirt his ass off no matter the circumstances with them, unless of course, Camden is taken as he is a very faithful boy.

`` Talented:

Music is probably Camden's most favorite thing in the world, there'll never be a moment where you'll see him without his limegreen Ipod hooked into his ears unless he's engaged in a conversation and even then, it's rare. He's been obsessed with toying with his vocal cords since he was a young kid and he's pretty damn good at it too. He's always wanted to try out for a band but has never heard of one that's really interested him. It's pretty safe to say however that had he found one, he would've gotten in instantly.

Our story begins at a rather prestigious boarding school in New York with Alyssa Johnson and Calvin Ryan. Only those who were particularly gifted in the arts, sports, or academics were accepted at Paddock Academy and Alyssa and Calvin couldn't be there for more different reasonings. Alyssa was a small city girl coming on a scholarship after sending in some of her eighth grade artwork, her parents were very kind and loving people with only their daughter's best interest at heart. Calvin, however, was plotted to go to the school from his birth just had the rest of his well respected family and as talented at football as he was, he would've been bought in either way. It wasn't that his parents didn't truly care for him, but they worried about the way they looked to the outside world every bit as much, if not more.

It was very much so a surprise when the extremely popular jock began to show an interest in the shy artist girl that most people had a difficult enough time with remembering her name. At first, Alyssa had resisted all of the boy's attempts in earning her affections after all he seemed as arrogant as they come and could have any girl he wanted, what if he had just seen one of those corny chick flicks where the perfect jackass of a jock gets with the clumsy excuse of a nerd and decided to give it a go? Her attempts, in the end, proved to be useless as Calvin easily found his way into her heart. The two remained together throughout their sophomore year of high school onto the day they graduated much to the surprise of both their peers and parents. Calvin's parents had never approved of Alyssa, they felt as if she was beneath them to be perfectly honest.

College did nothing to separate the extremely smitten couple as they were married directly after their graduations, with Calvin's mother not even bothering to show up at the wedding as she did not support her son's decision to ruin his life by marrying such a pointless girl. Of course, it didn't help matters that Alyssa became pregnant only a few months later but they wouldn't allow his family to bring them down, they could make it just fine on their own, thank you very much. The couple soon got themselves a house together happy that Calvin was now playing for a professional football team that soon brought the money rolling in, they were more than prepared for their child to come into the world.

The day came on April second when Camden Elijah Ryan was brought into the world, screaming his lungs out just as he would for much of his life. He was a gorgeous baby and, of course, in his parents' opinion the most perfect baby to ever grace the world. His dad had even suggested throwing him into baby contests. After what felt like, to them, forever they were allowed to take their little boy home. The next few years went by smoothly, Calvin making every attempt to get the boy interested in football while Camden found it much more fun to go around singing the lyrics to all of his most favorite songs, Calvin assured Alyssa that this was just a phase although she could honestly care less.

Another child was brought into the family when Camden was only six years old, and there was denying that at first the little boy felt nothing but hatred and jealousy towards the creature that he was forced into sharing his beloved parents with. They were his, she shouldn't be able to take any of their time! The feeling for the little girl, Candice, was completely opposite however, she wanted to be with her big brother at all times which, of course, only fueled his annoyance. This all changed one day at the park though, when some punk ass little boy pushed his one year old little sister into the mud, Camden tried his hardest to beat him up but even back then his attempts were futile. He's loved the girl ever since at least.

As the years went on by, the boy didn't get over his so called 'phase' of singing and himself and his father began drifting away from each other quickly. His mom tried to stop the two from fighting over something so silly, but it never helped. Calvin wanted to have his son carry out his legacy while Camden wanted nothing more than to be known as one of the greatest vocalists of his time, which in his father's opinion, was queer. Little did he know, it was more than his son's dream that could be defined as such. Cam never wanted to be so far away from his father so when he figured himself out in his freshman year in High School he kept it to himself, flirting like mad with the boys and messing around with them in secret but he wasn't sure on if he'd ever be able to tell his father. Eventually, with these pressures along with the ones thrown from school together, he decided it would just be better to end it all and took all the pills he could find until he was passed out on the bathroom floor.

His father had come home and found him just in time to get his son to the hospital and he couldn't feel anymore sympathetic for the way he had treated his only son just because he didn't want to play his beloved sport. When Camden came to, he was so pleased with his father's apparent redemption that he couldn't bring himself to tell his family the truth as to why he had attempted to take his own life, and told them that it was only because he hated his school and everyone in it and that he just couldn't deal with them anymore. This caused the family to come closer to one another once more and although Camden's sexuality is a secret to them he came out at school in the beginning of this school year. He can only hope his secret will never meet his family's ears; especially his father's.
